The Brelli is said to be world’s first biodegradable umbrella. Inspired by asian parasols, the Brelli’s handle and frame are crafted from bamboo (sustainably-harvested), and the canopy is made out of an innovative bioplastic. The Jimi Wallet is a compact, splash-proof wallet made out of recycled plastic. It is billed as a wallet for those who don’t like regular wallets, with an eye towards travelers, cyclists and anyone who needs a minimalist wallet. The price is $14.95

Ecoist makes bags and totes by hand with recycled materials used to make candy wrappers, food packages, and soft drink labels. This excess materials often ends up as waste in landfills. For each bag sold they plant a tree.

Each bag is unique, with patterns and colors that vary widely, taking each artist 2-5 days to produce.

Marisa Rey is the artist and designer behind Ecoist, she was inspired to start the company after traveling in Mexico. The bag sell for $25-$285.
