Orikaso, a design firm in the U.K., has released these foldable polypropylene cups, bowls and plates for backpacking or travel. They can actually hold liquids without leaking.
We like to avoid all plastics, but at least these products are made from recyclable materials, and any material cut off during manufacture is recycled. Polypropylene is a less toxic alternative to PVC. Here is a list of retailers in the US.
