900 Lumen LED Bulb Released By G7 Power

A company called G7 has released a 900 lumen LED light bulb, which is selling for around $19. This warm white ( 3,000K) bulb runs on just 9W, and it is equivalent to a 65 watt incandescent bulb. It has a 75+ Color Rendering Index (CRI)  — quality household lights tend to have the CRI between 80 and 100.G7 claims this is the first LED bulb to come with a “lifetime guarantee” (15+ years), specifically, the manufacturer says:

The G7 Corporation guarantees that this bulb will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will operate over the lifetime of the original purchaser under normal operating conditions in accordance with package and bulb directions.

So far the light has received good ratings on Amazon (an average of 4.6 out of 5 stars from 39 reviewers).

The only LED bulbs that would rival this one are the Philips AmbientLED, and the Pharox.

The G7 LED bulb is available here for about $19.

I have had my Softech DL 90 for 6 months. It is a miracle!!!. I cannot conceive going back to any other lamp. The ability to choose LED lighting for any of the many desk purposes together with the the timer exceeded my fondest expectations.
