The electricity balance of King Island is not clear from this post:
1 - what was the average annual quantity of electricity provided by the wind farm on the one hand and the diesel generators before the use of the VRB?
2- What are they once the VRB in operation
3-What is the quantity of electricity lost by the VRB.
Colud you clear that up for me?
Regards B.DURAND

Upon seeing Maria Skyllas-Kazacos's vanadium flow battery featured on the Australian Broadcasting Commission's TV program Quantum more than 20 years ago I felt that this invention would be important. Like so many "breakthroughs" however it disappeared from the limelight, with only a hint now and then that research was continuing. It is quite an emotional experience now to see this work emerge to play a crucial role in the battle against global heating. I dips me lid to now Professor Skyllas-Kazacos and her team at the University of NSW and to the patience of academic research funding.
